Steve, it doesn't matter to me who Sean Wilentz is. Z thinks that Reagan bucking the more conservative members of the right-wing establishment somehow validates the liberal viewpoint, that the Cold War was won with words and not with military strength.

So even if the passage from Wilentz' book is 100% accurate, it still would not support Z's argument.
