TD,

I am part of this fine country of ours. I claim it.

Rules and the enforcement of them is part of what makes for a civil culture. Without rules there will be people who take undue advantage of others.

You do take the most peculiar positions. Advocating the rights of those who break their agreements and the laws will only find support at the fringe.

It is interesting that you make an issue of overdrafts. Account holders agree NOT to overdraft their accounts in the absence of some form of pre-approved method of advancing credit to cover the drafts.

The very act of overdrafting an account is a breach of the deposit agreement. You are not to do that. I do not care what order my checks are cleared - nor would anyone who is not overdrafting their account.

Surely you agree that people should not write checks for amounts in excess of the balance in their accounts. It can even be criminal in some circumstances.
