But that's not a policy that can be termed out of touch because he doesn't read the newspapers. It's debatable whether he has overstepped his authority; some like you think he did, some like me think he didn't. He's gotten years of political and legal advice on the matter, and probably knows the issues better than most people. So this example has nothing to do with whether Bush, as a single person, reads newspapers.
