I am extremely sorry for you. This seems completely out of proportion to loosing ones rook. Maybe Bob or Larry can help you, or have you called on the bar association counseling resources? This would seem to be a firm issue at this point. The nature of your posts are not likely to create a good firm image. I have had several close friends who as attorneys were overcome by the stress. One committed suicide.
All I know is that I have never addressed you in any manner other than as a gentlemen. I have tried to pay proper deference to your professional status because that seems important to you. In spite of
that you are saying things that just do not track. You are now rambling about my refusal to discuss the company anymore. I don't understand. Gary we were discussing the company. Don't you remember, then we have taken a two day recess while you attacked first me and then Ronald? Do you remember me asking if you made a mistake? Do you remember that even after writing your sentence, having it set out from the paragraph it was in, that you still couldn't see your
mistake? That caused the side attacks about your attempt to tell me how I had used the word fraud and that somehow it was bad because I used it in accordance with 10-b, and your insistence on putting the word allegation in my mouth because I merely acknowledged your hypothetical which renders untrue everything the company has said previously. When I finally brought your attention down to the very clause and the very word that I thought you had omitted I thought you came back into focus as well as civility.
Your focus and civility were very short lived however, and we thus spent another day while you attacked another member of the thread. One whom I will remind you had just said how he was enjoying the dialog that you were participating in with me. Your attack on him I find shocking. Moreover Gary your attempt to divide and conquer by inferring that after you laid him low out of all rationality and my using the term lowly Ronald is disparagement on MY part is a little far fetched.
Just as far fetched is your saying that I disparaged him as some high school drop out. I do not know for sure but I believe that Ronald has a college degree and is a computer programer, the last time I looked a bachelors degree was a couple levels down from your doctorate, and computer programers have never been considered members of the traditional "Professions", lawyers are. Thus I was just showing how your ill mannered attack on him was out of all proportion to what he had said. You look like the school bully using a club on a smaller kid. This is neither right nor indicative of your good health.
Rather than coming up with a straw man argument on the manner in which you might twist my words this time Gary I will just wait and see. Hopefully you won't do that again and you will snap out of whatever came over you. Maybe we can continue our civil discussion. If not, I have no desire to even try to have a discussion to you, which may be causing possibly lethal stress. Why don't you go back and read your posts for the last couple days, and get a grip. I can wait while you take some time to level out, and will be glad to do so. I'll even be saying a little prayer for you in the meantime. |
