GE -- The Next Victim Under Options Market Makers' Exemption?

In recent discussions about SEC's rules on banning abusive, naked short selling, the public media has often left out its coverage on the all-important "option market makers" exemption under the rules.



Is GE the next victim under this "option-market-makers'" exemption? I believe that many professional short sellers are still taking advantage of this exemption, and that the SEC should immediately ban this practice.

Note the high GE's put/call ratio reading in recent days followed by a sharp drop in GE's stock price.
