Brothers, would it not be wiser to converse about our differences in private, like email. We must keep in the front of our mind always that our witness for Christ can be misinterpreted when we disagree in public. We know the love of Christ is still toward each other, but others look for ways to divide us, then use that division against us, and use it to justify their unbelief. May Christ keep us in harmony with HImself.
I apologize because I feel really sorry about some of the posts. It is difficult for me to catch the intended spirit of the things written. The following scriptures come to mind:
"Eph 4:32 And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.
Eph 5:1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children;
Eph 5:2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you, and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma."
"John 13:34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
John 13:35 "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
John 21:15 So when they had finished breakfast, Jesus said^ to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?" He said^ to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said^ to him, "Tend My lambs."
Rom 5:5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Rom 12:10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another
Rom 13:8 Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
Rom 13:10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.
1 Cor 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant,
1 Cor 13:5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,
1 Cor 13:6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
1 Cor 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Cor 13:8 Love never fails;
Forgive me brothers, but I mean no affront, I get carried away sometimes with the power and truth of The Word. Again, we must always remember that we are being watched.
