The $350,000 figure is an example. Maybe it is $500,000, maybe it is $100,000, but it isn't zero. That's what matters. She stands to profit from Obama being elected. Even if you argue that she MAY not profit from it, the mere fact that she MAY profit from it is sufficient to disqualify her.

Doubt it. The real reason is that they are afraid she will get her clock cleaned and are trying to lower expectations. That is very clear.


This may be happening, but it is totally unrelated to the conflict of interests of Ifill.

The woman should have disclosed the situation and allowed the two campaigns to decide whether she was a suitable moderator.
