Skeets, I don't believe in capital gains taxes at all, as long as 90% of all earnings are paid out in dividends. But that trade off will never happen because:

1. The earnings as reported are not real, so they can't be paid out.

2. Management cannot trust shareholders to reinvest part of their dividends to fund top executive bonuses.

That being said, I don't like the concept of raising these taxes.
