It's the second hurricane in 25 years for us, Alicia did some damage but not to this extent. Ike was a very large hurricane compared to Alicia. I do believe that even though we have a very well built house and no more trees left to crash into it, if faced with a hurricane of this magnitude or larger, we would evacuate to Vermont!
