Moly prices look good going forward!

The new MOLY2008 report will be available for UPS shipping Monday
September 29, 2008.
Liberty, MO - MOLY2008 contains a full supply/demand analysis, including a
complete treatment of the recycling side. Plus it includes an update on two dozen
end use markets for molybdenum, as well as the latest developments in
stainless- and ultra high-strength steels. Information is current as of September
2008.
MOLY2008 is unique in part because it fully addresses the recycled side. Other
reports ignore recycling or talk only about recycled catalysts. The recycled
contribution is much greater than just recycled catalysts.
Correct assessment of the size of the current market – which is north of a halfbillion
pounds – defines a higher demand level in the future, regardless of the
projected growth rate that you use. Recycled material will cover a percentage,
but because it is a percentage, the absolute tonnage required from the miner will
be greater than in any forecast that excludes the recycled component.
Plus, the recycled contribution could decline, transferring an even greater
demand to the miner. Call it the “scrap time bomb.”
The molybdenum price got where it is today because the future market was
chronically underreported, and resource developers were denied opportunities.
Conventional supply/demand forecasts will continue that unfortunate tradition.
This report shows a greater resource development opportunity, even assuming
conservative future demand growth rates.
