Interesting that taking the Jewish holiday was more important than tending to the people's business. "Congress was not in session on Tuesday because of the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah. The Senate could take up bailout legislation again as early as Wednesday. The House is due to return on Thursday." The Senate got to work on Wednesday. Why not the House? Should this country's critical affairs take a back seat to a HOLIDAY, religious, or not?
