Koan: I like your well reasoned and legal argument in favor of Gay marriag. I am a primitive barbarian. Of course no civilization in history has ever recognized gay marriage. This might be a hard concept for you to grasp, but, Marriage as an institution exits becase sex produces babies.Marriage exists for the benefit of families. In fact would marriage exist if sex did not produce babies. I would suggest not. What interest does the State have in regulating sex between two people. But I get it, you think its right, the majority do not, so just bring in the courts to trample democracy. oooooooh,wait a minute I thought liberals were the champions of democracy. I guess I am just stupid. Also you either did not get the point of or chose to ignore my point which was your blanket condemnation of conservatives as racist while failing to see the racism and, I, might add sexism among the dems, is just myopic.
