tonto, agreed partisan politics can blind some citizens to faults in their own party; however, there's a consistent and overwhelming record on the Democrats of extreme incompetency. Sept 11, 2001 taught me and many Americans that truth. Was it a coincidence Dem Pres Clinton was in office for 8 yrs prior to the attack? Is it another coincidence that Dems have always managed Fannie/Freddie.

Those institutions have been the Dems political piggy bank for decades, and today all Americans will suffer the consequences of their mismanagement. Yes, there have always been a few incompetent Repubs as well, but they're the exception--not the rule as with the Democrats. Chris Dodd, like Barney Frank, is another slippery Democrat. Dodd is #1 on Fannie Mae's political contribution list---Barack Obama is #2. Connect the dots over decades, and it leads to the conclusion neither the Repubs nor Dems are perfect--however, tons of undeniable evidence prove the fact the Democrat Party is filled with life-long politicians who totally lack any practical experience in the real world. That's why today they're downright fatal to American lives when given presidential power.
