Look Guys: The expectation bar for Palin was so low that her responses were deemed fine, but they contained not a single independent or original thought or response. But really, they were all talking points...that and a few "winks" to show she was a gutsy gal, full of cute, main street values. It was entertaining. It was mildly informative (but only mildly) Biden talked too much (big surprise!). But to most viewers Biden won the "debate", or should we call it the show. Even Fox's poll said so. Palin did fine. She will now survive until November 4th. But the wink and the shout out won't help McCain. He needs to really buck it up next Tuesday and start explaining why an Obama presidency is too risky. He ain't done it yet.
