Wow!

The liberals now know what it's like to be a caribou caught in Palin's crosshairs. They can't believe it! The lady from Alaska can speak, argue, debate, defend herself, and her running mate, attack, and do it all with grace, humor, and in a way that connects with average Americans, because, "Doggone it!", she's one of us, "You betcha!" I am a total debate geek, and this, yes this debate between Biden and Palin, was the best Vice Presidential OR Presidential deabte I have ever seen. If only McCain were half as good as the Governor! I don't care how many fake polls CBS, MSNBC, and CNN come up with to show that Biden won. Where it really counts, Palin nailed it. Regardless of what happens next month, we have a new political force on the scene; we will be hearing a lot more from the Governor.
My State Department buddies, overwhelmingly liberal, are moping around saying things like, "Well, she didn't fall on her face, but . . ." and you know the rest. Real American friends are delighted with her performance. She is a quick learner -- she gets the policy stuff, it's not that hard -- but she also remembers who she works for. Biden is not an evil man or a particularly odious poltician. He was, however, completely outclassed by a person from Main Street USA.
