yes in theory. but not yet.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much need to tidy up dollar based transactions on the quest for liquidity. it is beyond huge, and it is beyond libor. it is.... literally beyond in the heretofore experience called the unknown.

i.e. it is has never happened in recorded history.

but... we can guess at outcomes, time frames, and all sorts of stuff. perhaps more useful than,... oh uh, monday this is gonna happen. of which i am also guilty. but better to have my order recorded than, never getting my order in... that's just a normal precaution no matter what the circumstances are.

practical trading matter, not an earth shattering prognostication. period. as many of us here learned in the y2k years. better systems now, do not mean, our calls get answered any better than then. just good office keeping. nothing else but that.
