Yes, CNN likely realizes how stupid it is to put its brand on a blog, content over which, it has absolutely no control. Big idea or bad idea? BAD idea.

Fact that just one post from a "first time" poster could wreak havoc in a broadly traded stock demonstrates, IMHO, that the post was not just a joke, but rather a concerted effort to manipulate the stock. It'll be interesting to see what an SEC investigation in this matter uncovers. Presumably, Chris Cox now has something to do his last few months as SEC Chairman.
