Here's another way to say the same thing...

It became clear some time ago that Jobs is sick, and dying. As AAPL is a company heavily dependent on the vision of one man, and was trading at very high earnings multiple, the stock has taken a pounding in 2008, declining nearly 60% from its recent all-time-high. Friday morning there was a statement from AAPL that Jobs isn't quite as sick as some believe, and the stock had a mild, short-lived rally to back above $100. As the day wore on, concerns about both AAPL and the broader market combined to drive the stock downwards, and it closed near it's intraday low.
