I wonder about what you say about LXR having no control over the release of the Elirex data. In a press release from the company not too long ago, they mentioned that the preclinical data from Dr. Topol's study would be presented at an "international meeting" of researchers this fall. There are not many such meetings to choose from, the most notable of course being the American Heart Association convention in Orlando in November. In order to carry out on their promise that this data would be presented at that conference, they would have had to have submitted it long ago, so they should know when and where it will be presented. I am investingating this further, but if anyone has any information on when/where the Elirex data will be presented, please let me know.
