It is pretty obvious that is exactly what she did. When a question was asked that she didn't have a memorized answer to, she then didn't answer that question and merely parroted a canned answer to some other question. As a result, she probably didn't answer half the questions she was asked. To be fair, Biden did that on a few questions himself. But not nearly as many by a long shot.
Biden has had 35 years to memorize his answers. Palin has had a couple months. It is no surprise that his answers were a little slicker than hers.
Still, given that disparity, the fact that Palin, in the judgment of many, won the debate, is a fairly significant accomplishment.
Biden is an extremist liberal like Obama. Both very dangerous people. Palin is a moderate. Not dangerous, by any stretch.
The fact that he has memorized more stuff in 35 years than she has in 2 months isn't surprising. The fact that she beat him the debate on legitimate points (i.e., without lying) is, to me, significant. I thought Biden did a good job, too, I might add. |
