Perhaps. But so has Obama. It is part of the process -- you answer the question you wanted to be asked not the one you ARE asked. Obama is an expert at it. Palin, not so much.

There is a term that has evolved for this maneuver it is practiced so often by these politicians -- the "pivot". And they all do it, some less than others.

Of the three running, McCain practices the technique far more infrequently than the others. Obama and Palin are probably about the same. Obama is just slicker at it having had more practice.

By being a mayor who was forced to hire a city manager because she didn't know how to manage?

By being a governor which is far more meaningful experience than anything Obama has done. It has included proposing and cutting budgets, managing people and resources, negotiating contracts and performing hundreds of other functions that Obama knows crap about.

You guys want to turn Obama loose in the car with a learner's permit. Palin is already far better positioned than he is.
