My daughter watched the debate with my niece who is an Obama fanatic. When the niece walked in the room during the introductions, she said, "I would like to put a bullet right between her eyes."

My daughter asked "Why would you say that?"

No answer. In fact, she could not name one reason for supporting the Obama ticket.

This is what the Republicans are dealing with. Kids who do know a damned thing about the issues, but find it "cool" to support Obama. it was the same way in '72 with McGovern, an absolute incompetent. It was the cool thing to do. Nobody cared that the man was totally incompetent for the job -- what was important was to be on the peace train. We were all idiots then, YOU are all idiots today.
