The dollar increase is temporary, but the dollar may indeed
be on the last leg of the decline. For comparison, see
1987-1990 period. It went up and down, but overall down.

The package is pure panic - all the Feds injected 600 billion of
liquidity last week, and the credit markets are completely frozen. Once
again, I think NOBODY understands implications of financial
engineering (derivatives), so they are just blind shooting
the beast. Firms collapsed, we have a counterparty problem!
