That's only if you see the Democrats as one half of the problem. I don't. I see them, for the most part, as just not good enough of a solution.

Republicans have been actively destroying this country. Democrats haven't been good at saving it, but aren't trying to make it worse, for the most part. Big difference.

Obama is not going to try to dismantle Social Security and Medicare, continue to deregulate the economy, and probably won't take us into more wars. Whether he can improve things significantly will remain to be seen, but I'd rather take my chances with an incompetent firefighter than with the known arsonist.
