We're pretty much in uncharted territory here. That's why the haphazard Fed/Treasury actions of late. What else could they have done? This mess has never been seen before and there's no script to follow. Ironic how all the mortgage backed securities and their derivative cousins were supposed to have "spread" the risk after the LTCM fiasco. It's spread so well that everyone gets creamed. Unbelievable! -we-
