Bonds versus the stock market stockcharts.com the above chart is a comparision chart and is comparing the long bond against the whilshire total market index of 5000 stocks. the reason that I draw attention to this chart is that it gave a good signal of when the bear market started and actually a little early. What it is showing is that if channels are important and one has formed to the parameter that I have put on the chart we are at the top of the channel and at least a temporary top should be expected.
