Hi Joe.: Not a rumor but the justification to purchase of NeXT Know you knew it, but evidently John Dvorak has discovered history. Amelio and Hnacock after announcing AAPL's plan to purchase NeXT cited the INTEL component and speculated on AAPL's OS(s) running there . Mr. J completed the Windows component which Dr. Gil has recently claimed was based on his prior efforts . The Costelo move is confusing as Mr. E called him a moron though they had become civil to each other recently . Mr. Miliken's involvement with AAPL board member Ellison is concerning . Leopards don't lose spots but jailbirds can lose stripes . Hope their hearts are in the right place in their educational venture . Jim K.
