Rodney, I believe my posts are well founded, whether I continue to trade with Datek or not. The fact is that Datek has not yet restored my portfolio to the state it should be had they not made a manual entry error and then proceeded to play with my portfolio. Too, my experience with Datek has given me an insight on their workings that others have not had the unfortunate oppurtunity of experiencing yet. I have tried to only state facts, while Datek appears to be very crafty with their wording of replies, etc.

Rodney, you however, have become their apologist. Let Datek reply and fix the problems that occur. I don't understand how you feel that you can judge whether someone elses complaints are valid or not as you don't have access to their account details, nor the whole story. Most of the complaints that are posted here seem to be valid. As I read posts on other threads and discuss matters with other traders, Datek typically receives negative comments. Notice this one on a completely different thread: techstocks.com

The types and nature of the problems Datek has are wide and frequent. Those that complain here are only a small sample.
