IMHO for a thread title "Heart Attacks, Cancer and strokes. Preventative approaches" it is totally on topic to discuss public health aspects. Otherwise we just become a selfish self-centered little cult trying to achieve mortality and the hell with the rest of the world.

And even from the selfish viewpoint, I like to go out to eat and I want to see something cardioprotective on the menu I can eat.

BTW Idaho raised farm bred trout is chock full of omega 3s:
