If the Republicans, who controlled all of government, all regulatory agencies, all executive branch functions, all legislative hearings, all committee assignments, all bills that came to the floor, and the Veto.....had wanted to deal with this issue you claim existed, they could have done so anytime between 1994 an 2006. Frank could not call a hearing between 1994 and 2006. The republicans could have done anything they wanted....anything.

If you think Barney Frank is the source of the problems we face today, you are acting naively. Partly at fault? Sure....the source of the problem? No.
