I said never again when I had to put my wonderful "Mister" down. That was almost 30 years ago. I live alone and am here most all day, so I sure could raise a puppy, but I cried like a baby after Mister, did so for a week, every time I thought of him. Do you know, I still have an occasional dream of that great dog. In my dream I can even smell him and feel him, it's that real. I just couldn't do that again.
