This series consists of memos, cables, press releases, issue papers, reports, agendas of CPPG and Special Situation Group (SSG) meetings, meeting minutes, re Lebanon. These materials are actually the work product of Oliver North and John Poindexter, but used by Dur. Both Dur and North were Deputy Directors under Robert Lilac in the NSC Political-Military Affairs Directorate in 1983-1984. This series is arranged alphabetically and then chronologically.
