morgan stanley and other firms issued a "strong buy" on KLIC when it was trading at $30 and it ran the price up to above $50. Kurlak's recent comments have driven KLIC back down to its present level. If movement in KLIC is any indication of the potential movement in CYMI, then what we are witnessing is a brief trade-off in CYMI prior to earnings (witness the brief trade-off in KLIC prior to earnings). CYMER will make earnings. The question is what will they say following earnings? If KLIC is a "strong buy" at $30 and continues to be rated as a "buy" by several firms and it is now trading at $32 3/4, then Cymer, being an original "strong buy" at $37 should bounce at least $4 after earnings.
