McCain's health care idea is to push everyone into the private market on their own. You would buy health care like you buy car insurance.

If you are older, have preexisting conditions, have genetic conditions, etc. then you are SOL. McCain doesn't care, he and his wife make $6 million/year plus he has the gold plated Congressional health care that he won't make available to other citizens as John Kerry would have done.

McCain was born privileged and has been privileged his entire life. He doesn't care one whit about anyone else.

The ONLY civilized solution to health care is to make it universal health care. We can argue forever about private products and services on the margin but base health care has to be universal in order for it to be affordable.
