Re-reading the article, either AMD violated the agreement by telling the Arabs about it or they mislead them by NOT telling them about it! Who else but AMD would be such slimebags?

Phud, you are having some comprehension problems. The agreement is not violated by telling the Arabs there is some confidential parts. It is violated if they tell them the confidential info itself. Hence Intel's interest:

"We're curious about whether the new investors made this commitment without even knowing the terms of AMD's license with Intel."
