One of the biggest mistakes liberals make is to forget the lessons of the Truman presidency. The success (or failure) of a president is not known, cannot be known, for years. Even some historians forget this fact. While I believe Bush's domestic policy has sucked, presidents are ultimately remembered for their foreign policy, and Bush will be remembered very positively in history for his.

There is no comparison between Truman and Bush. They are different men in different times. Its highly unlikely history will ever look kindly upon Bush.
