Yes Nicholas you are partly right. However, the monster recession would have happened in 2001 and 2002. Perhaps we would have been better off if the excesses had been purged then. But don not give me any lousy lies that we would have been on our way to paying off the debt. Join me in calling a partisan lie a partisan lie and the person pushing it a liar!
