The real terrorist threat is along the Afghanistan border with Pakistan, it never was Iraq. The Iraq invasion was to settle some old scores and disrupt the supply of crude oil.

That's the "real" threat, is it? All the thousands of suicide bombs and IEDs that have gone off in other places, from Bali to Iraq to Israel, what are they, only "fake" threats?

This may be a news flash to you, but jihad is a global movement and jihadis get to move. They are only in Pakistan because it's a safe haven for them. They would sooner be elsewhere. They have been elsewhere quite often, and given any new opportunities, they will be there too.

It must be comforting to convince yourself that Al Qaeda is only a few nutters in a cave.
