Yes, it is great. Thinking is a great way to predict the future. Ideologues are often surprised by events because they want to believe particular things rather than think about what makes sense.

It isn't actually difficult to have better intelligence than world leaders: <I'm sure you personally had different and better intelligence than any world leaders. >

Partly it's easy because one can specialize in a few things rather than trying to know what the heck is going on across the whole huge menagerie of government activities.

It's like out-thinking doctors who have to know vast amounts and treat lots of people. One person can study one thing, just for themselves, and learn as much as registered experts.
