Elmer, While AMD's current process may not become more competitive, having a financial backer that has deeper pockets than Intel will certainly go a long way toward any R&D necessary for future process shrinks. Might it be possible that AMD shrinks the lag time between the Intel/AMD process shrinks? If so, this deal makes AMD more competitive... I believe that the capacity exists... Execution is another story... Scott
