Rodney, your wrong. You are evidently angered by my previous post. Sorry to offend you somehow, but my posts are not out to damage Datek, but to get a clearer understanding of their practices. I had no idea that Datek made an error at the time, yet they knew and did not inform me. They knew three days before they did anything about it. By the way I didn't claim I thought it was a stock Dividend, Datek told me it was. With regard to my case, I will not go into further details than I already have.

In addition some of yur statements don't reflect statements that I made, but rather, in my opinion, libel that Jon Normile published on this thread in the past. It is clear that Jon's conjectures have had their intended effect.

It is also clear Rodney that whenever a statement that is made on this thread even appears to have a negative bent, you quickly try to change the subject and start making personal attacks instead. The issues I am trying to get clear on has to do with the true costs of trading with a discount broker. Peter and Jon's comments have been very informative thus far with regard to these issues. I still have other questions that I think other traders would also like to know the answers to. These issues do not just apply to Datek, but that is the brokerage I am familiar with. This also happens to be the thread where most of these type discussions occur.
