But blaming the problem on deregulation or "unregulation" is ridiculous. Bull crap. You think investment banks should have been able to sell phony insurance (CDS) on their own products without the assets to back them up? Why do you think the insurance industry is so regulated, just because government is evil and loves "perverse" incentives?
