Ormonde hits high grade tungsten in Salamanca

independent.ie

Ormonde Mining, the Co. Meath based exploration company has reported high grade results from its initial tungsten drilling in Salamanca, Spain.

The results show that the project's main resource zone could be amenable to either bulk mining or higher grade selective mining.

The company has described the results as very encouraging as they provide evidence of a depth extension of the deposit below the level of previous drilling.

Prices of tungsten concentrates are expected to remain bouyant over the long term and currently range $160 – $189 per metric tonne.
