i don't buy this as a bottom. but that's me. something stinks. and this ain't a short covering rally either or the internals wouldn't be as bad as they are. i.e. a new record at one point of 2000 new lows on the nyse. no way. we haven't seen capitulation yet of any kind in volume or the usual historical measures. bkx still under 60. t bills were being bought most of the day, not sold. i'm not buying it yet. we'll get a bottom interim before the slaughter next year... but i don't think this is it. fwiw. i hate timing stuff anyway.
