Both GM and F are. F seems to be the best of the three,
old "C" is the crappiest, but it ain't public.

This is an example of how the blow-up of CDS drives the bonds
of a company to really unreasonable values. Hedge funds then
buy bonds, short stock as a hedge, drive it to zero. Speculators
pile on.

The companies will survive, but I am not sure about the stocks.
At worst they can be nationalized or restructured (and become
the property of bondholders)

In any event, if credit unfreezes, BK filing would be a few years
away. But they've got problems.

Actually, I am thinking of dipping my foot in those again.
It hurt the first time I tried -g- Never seen an automaker
that cheap before, so I tried, and guess what? They got
cheaper -g-
