CompuServe Network Services Hosts Industry Leaders
At Interoperability Workshop Aimed At Establishing
Tunneling Standard

SAN FRANCISCO and COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/
-- CompuServe Network Services recently hosted the first and
only dedicated Layer Two Tunneling Protocol (L2TP)
interoperability workshop. Numerous industry leaders gathered at
CompuServe Network Services for a working session, organized by
the California ISDN Users' Group (CIUG), in an effort to establish
the tunneling standard within the Internet Engineering Task Force
(IETF). Industry leaders represented included: 3Com, ACC, ADTRAN,
Ascend, Bay Networks, Cisco Systems, Compaq, IBM, Microsoft,
Novell, Pulsecom, RouterWare, Shiva, and ZyXEL.
