Andy, thanks for your comments. I'm a patient man, and will ride this out as long as it takes. In the meantime, I am trying to learn as much about this industry as possible, I believe Internet brokers need closer scrutiny and Datek is the one I am familiar with. I have read of similar experiences with other brokers though. In fact the WSJ wrote an article detailing a very similar experience to mine concerning a client of E*trade. Of course, everyone I have spoken to or detailed my problem too outside of Datek and Rodney have confirmed that I was wronged. This includes lawyers specializing in securities trading, experienced brokers, a top level VP of a huge fiannacial firm. Statements made by people in the SEC and NASDR also have been of help to me. In the end, I have to conclude that Datek's position is wrong and that Rodney's is self-serving. Other than that, enough time has gone by for this not to be an emotional issue for me, so I believe I am correct. It's scary how emotional Rodney gets though. It doesn't take much to set him off.
