At this point I would and should take this to PMs but since you have blocked me, I will reply here and leave it alone.
Anything I said has nothing to do with me thinking that I am "morally superior" as you say. that is ALWAYS the argument used by one that refuses to see the truth. I am a sinner like the rest, and I have been "called on the carpet" so to speak by some right here on SI for things I have said that I should not have said as a christian. I didn't like it either, but that is because they were right.
If one quotes scripture and it does not agee with your worldview thinking, does that invalidate scripture and make you brand one as thinking they are "morally superior"?
you say, I believe each person lives their own life and makes their own choices. I'll leave the judgement to God.
yes, of course, all true...God has given man free will to walk away from salvation, and HE will judge, but your point? you still cannot take it to a level of reducing that by saying that there are many paths to God when you know that the scriptures teach anything BUT that. Does not Jesus say that a fig tree should produce figs?
I do not look down on people as I AM a "people". As a follower of Christ, am I to ignore the truth when lies are spread in His name? Did not even Jesus tell Peter: "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men." Did not Paul tell a congregation to toss a man out of the church until he repented of his sin? So...when you said that there are many paths to God....that HAD to be called out..It is just too dangerous for anyone to believe that. It is just too clear that that is not the truth. |
