Excellent article. Thomas Friedman is one of the clearest thinkers we have in this country on the issues of energy independence and foreign policy. As far as Palin goes, there can be no doubt that she is not qualified to hold the 2nd highest office we have in this country, much less become President if something should happen to McCain. We have too many problems to entrust them to someone with her deeply parochial limitations.
