More, Big-name insurance companies. This credit crisis has really got to be worrisome for anybody who is dependent on annuities. One wonders what the heck has suddenly become known in the market that's so adverse to such an erstwhile solid (presumably solid) company like Prudential. Yikes.

I have only a tiny exploratory position (small dollar losses). I'll up my shares by the tiniest amount. I want to believe that if the company has to dilute shareholders by issuing more shares or seeking outside help (ala HIG or MET), that that's not now reflected in the stock price. But who knows?
